I used to say, “I don’t take people photos,” but my life course clearly disagreed. I got my first camera as a “you survived primary school” gift at 12, and by 15 I was shooting backyard weddings and bits and bobs — anything I could point a lens at for a bit of practice (and sometimes.. cash hehe). My mum even drove me all over the countryside so I could be everyone’s camera girl (when I asked nicely). Twelve years later, I’m not calling myself an elder photographer just yet, but this craft has become a huge part of who I am.

Every session is an adventure. Whether I’m capturing your laughter or creating something a little out‑there, my goal is always to make people feel comfortable being themselves. At MiniBou, I follow a “no‑hide policy,” photographing people as they truly are. An elderly client once told me, “Flaws won’t matter in decades, only the memories will,” and that’s shaped my whole approach to capturing.

My style is bold, colourful, emotive and creative (sorry not light and airy lol.)
